like the title says. i used to do some 10-30 day fasts since i work at home but for most of 2020 (thanks, covid) my family has been home with me and i swapped to IF/OMAD to make things easier. i'd like to start doing some extended fasting again since those are much easier for me to stick to than the shorter 2-3 day fasts.. but are they still considered okay / optimal for weight loss? any new info out? any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance! level 1 The longest fasts that Cole recommendeds are one meal a week now. Even in tip top shape I could never in my wildest dreams try to get abs or anything. That pear stomach shape if that makes sense. I can basically only lose weight even with my regimen if I do like 1200 cal a day. Even with cardio or working out. And still muscles always get destroyed first before any actual fat. Loss of body hair - started losing hair at 20 was basically bald at 24 - parts of my legs have bald spots etc arm hair is super light/thin etc General mood - I wouldn't say depressed.. more like.. brain fog-concentration issues-memory But I can 'down' easily. Adderral helped with the lethargy and concentration issues and this as I said, temporary cause of the 'boost' of being on a stimulant. Lack of motivation/drive. Can sleep 10 hours and still feel I need more. Mood swings like a moody girl basically. I do have insomnia issues. Did a sleep study. I do not have sleep apnea. They prescribed drugs for sleep, but I refuse to use those. Just sleep too hard on them / groggy / shitty side effects, and don't want to become dependent on them.
