Good day y'all. Some background: I am a 22 yo male, no significant health problems, 60kg (132lbs), 178cm (5' 8''). Two days ago I have a swelling on my right ankle, red, just a touch warmer. Went to the school clinic (cause I am still in university and broke) and the doctor suggested that it might be gout since I have no memory of heavy impact on my right foot and there is no sign of bite marks that would have caused the swelling. I don't remember eating a lot of meat prior to the swelling i. e. 2 days a go except two weeks ago during a friend's birthday, we went out for a buffet (I remember eating chicken, fish and squid, no beef, quite a lot veggies cause I like 'em) and had like half a cup of beer (am not a fan of drinking). The only abnormal thing that is not usually in my diet is squid and the half cup of beer. Is it possible that these are my trigger considering this is my first time although it was food from 2 weeks ago? Would love to get more insight on this considering I have limited access to professional medical advice at the moment.
